Our story

From local events to the biggest international festivals and prestigious venues, our mission is to provide a personalized and efficient experience for everyone.

From Entropt to ELOCKERS®

On June 1, 2015, ELOCKERS® was introduced as a new brand within the event industry. Previously, under the name Entropt, we provided access controls at over 400 events per year. Here we saw an increasing need from users and organizations for more transparent and convenient processing of lockers.

Thus arose the idea to develop our own lock and platform specifically for events and permanent venues in the Netherlands. A lock with which visitors could rent a locker faster and easier and clients could get more transparent insight into the rental flow. We developed this lock in cooperation with Splendid Group Asia in Hong Kong, making us the only locker solution provider that has its own lock in production with its own cabinets.

Since 2017, countless events and permanent venues have benefited from our self-developed lock. In our ongoing mission to improve the visitor experience, we took a groundbreaking step in 2019 with the launch of our new electronic locker platform. ELOCKERS® stands out as the only global provider enabling cashless, staff-free, wireless and keyless lockers.

At ELOCKERS®, we believe it is important that our customers, employees and services continue to innovate. Our platform allows us to provide more than just lockers and introduces new e-commerce opportunities not previously possible.

In line with our innovation drive, we launched www.sjef.app in 2019. This platform offers our customers a new, innovative payment method for events and venues. Sjef.app reflects our vision to streamline payment processes and increase efficiency at venues. The Sjef Group has now been established and acts as an umbrella over Sjef.app and ELOCKERS - thus strengthening each other.
