elockers processes personal data of its customers, website visitors and other contacts. We do this in order to best serve our data subjects and achieve our goals. So you leave your data with elockers and we can imagine that you would like to know why personal data is requested and what we do with it. In this privacy statement we explain why and how we process your personal data.
First, we believe that you should be able to trust that (your) personal information is treated with great care. In this privacy policy, we describe how we collect and process personal information, obviously taking into account your consent when legally required. Who we are
We are elockers: An organization focused on providing lockers for rent and for sale. This privacy statement covers all our processing - including if we process personal data together with other parties. elockers is located at Basisweg 59, 1043 AN Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
When does this privacy policy apply?
This privacy policy applies to all personal data that elockers processes from anyone who has (had) contact with elockers, such as our visitors, staff and business contacts. Elockers includes the websites listed below:

What personal information do we collect?
elockers processes personal data of you because you apply (online) for a vacancy, register at our facility, request a quote for lockers or staff, use the website, fill out a contact form or subscribe to the newsletter. Personal data means data that relates to a natural person. This may include:
- NAW data
- Phone number
- Email address
- Date of birth and age
- Gender
- Curriculum vitae (CV).
- Information on training(s) and internships
- Work Experience
- Details of training and education you have attended in the past (with us)
- Details of your availability and leave
- Other data (if any) necessary to judge the assessment of your suitability (think, for example, a reference)
- Passport photo (and personal videos)
- IP address
- Internet Usage Information
At the time you come to work through elockers or start working for one of our partners we collect (if applicable) the following data:
- Nationality
- BSN number
- ID proof or passport
- Work permit
- Bank and payment information
- Other data necessary for elockers' HR activities (such as personnel, salary and absence records)
- If you wish to inspect your total personal data processing and/or change or delete data that is not directly visible, please contact elockers.
How do we collect personal data?
elockers uses your data for a number of different reasons. More on that below. How we process data can be read here. We use data that we receive from you as well as data that we collect ourselves. For example, information about your visit to the website.
Contact information and information for your application
Your contact information is the information that allows us to identify or contact you. This includes your contact information, phone number and e-mail address.
When you enter your data on our website or via external platforms such as Facebook or register at one of our branches, personal data about you is recorded. This data is recorded in order to, among other things, get in touch with you and for the performance of our HR services.
We also keep minutes of any discussions in our CRM system Recruitee or Pipedrive. These minutes may contain personal data. We communicate with our stakeholders through various channels, for example by phone, email and SMS/WhatsApp. To make that possible, we also process personal data.
Data in your account in Ubeya
We store data in your personal account in the Ubeya app or on the website. These are linked to your registration and in your account you can edit things yourself. We collect data such as:
- NAW data
- Nationality
- Phone number
- Email address
- Date of birth
- Driving license or not
- Education and training level
- BSN number
- ID card or Passport number
- Validity of identity document
- Type of identification
- Bank and payment information
- Performance and progress
- Interests in vacancies
- Email and personalization preferences
In addition to wanting the best for our customers and partners, we naturally want the same for our employees. Therefore, we keep your data until the legal obligation is over. This legal obligation is 7 years. You can request to delete your account at any time.
Newsletter
Most people sign up to stay up-to-date on new jobs, promotions and fun facts about elockers, elockers or our partners. Therefore, our goal is to keep people informed about them. There are several ways we can collect your data:
- You can register through an external platform such as Facebook
- You can register by asking us directly
- You can register by signing up as an employee of elockers
To ensure that all employees within elockers stay up to date on new job postings and events, cool win promotions and even more interesting facts personalized for just the elockers crew, you will be added to our email file if you are registered as an employee. Do you really not want to receive these emails and miss the event schedules and promotions? Of course you can. Unsubscribe by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of the email or send us an email at info@elockers.nl and we will make sure you are removed from the email list within 2 weeks.
Sometimes we ask for more than just your e-mail address. Think of your name, city and date of birth. This allows us to personalize the newsletter as much as possible. This also prevents you from receiving e-mails that are not of interest.
If you do not wish to receive emails you can always unsubscribe by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of the email. In addition, you can send a mail to info@elockers.nl asking to unsubscribe yourself. This way we make it easy for everyone!
Leadinfo
We use the lead generation service of Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The tool recognizes company visits to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo sets two first-party cookies, to evaluate user behavior on our website and the tool processes domains from form entries (e.g., "Leadinfo.com") to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve services. Marketing and internet data
Like almost every website, elockers uses to store internet data, your cookie ID, social ID, IP address and/or browsing habits. The purpose of this is to give our website users the most personalized experience possible. We only do this when you give us permission through our cookie notice.
We cannot see who you are or what company you work for.
We also use so-called custom audiences on various social media. This means, for example, that we recognize that you have been on our website. We then send a relevant ad via a medium such as Facebook or Instagram.

Improving our website

In our customer records we keep track of which companies are customers of elockers and which companies have been customers of elockers. From the contact persons we keep personal data, such as contact details, in order to be able to reach you. We communicate with our customers through various channels, for example by phone or email. To make that possible we also process personal data.

To make an offer, we process personal data such as contact information.
Making you a real locker topper! (Or hire you employee)
The moment you fill in your details on our website, register yourself through an external advertisement or leave your details at one of our branches, personal data is recorded to initiate the application process. The data is collected for the performance of our HR services such as mediation, secondment, recruitment & selection and personnel management. Your personal data is processed for a number of other reasons such as:
- To link you to your personal account in the Ubeya application;
- Record hours worked;
- Process payments;
- To assess your suitability and availability in connection with mediation for permanent or temporary employment;
- To establish and maintain an employee or staffing and mediation relationship with you;
- To secure an assignment with the client;
- To further your hospitality experience and personal development.
We also use contact and address information for our administrative processes.
Improving our webshop
elockers collects your browsing, search and contact behavior based on cookie techniques, your IP address and the ad number associated with the device you are browsing with. This allows us to see which pages, pieces of text and images you find strong and which we need to improve. This allows us to make our website perform better and better for our user. It also allows us to communicate relevant information to you and personalize it as much as possible.
Feedback
We may use your contact information to solicit feedback on our services/products and those of our partners.
Meeting our legal obligation
We may be required by law to disclose personal information as part of a legal process or if required by enforcement agencies. To comply with the terms of a valid legal process, we may disclose this information without your knowledge, without your consent and without notifying you. We also reserve the right to challenge authorities' access to personal information.
Use anonymous information

To whom may we possibly disclose your personal information?
At elockers, we are committed to protecting personal information. Therefore, we only share data with data subjects and partners when strictly necessary to provide our services or to improve the experience of our flex workers and employees. We require that they handle your information as carefully as we do. In addition, they are only permitted to use this data for the purpose for which it was shared.
We may, with permission to the extent required, disclose your personal information to third parties. This also applies to third parties in countries outside the EU and Switzerland where the privacy rules differ from those applicable here.
Employees of elockers
Our employees may have access to their personal information with permission. This group is and will be limited to only those employees who need this information to accomplish our business activities or improve performance. In addition, they will receive only the information needed for the purpose for which it was shared.
Partners
In order to accomplish our activities, it is necessary to share your personal information with our partners. elockers may share your personal information with other similar entities. In addition, if necessary, we may share data to clients, suppliers and government agencies.
In addition, we work with marketing and media partners who work with us toward one goal: To optimize and personalize elockers' experience both offline and online as much as possible. Consider partners who function as intermediaries for websites and advertising platforms.
Buyer of our company

How do we protect your personal information?
All personal information is safely stored in our database which is secure and access is controlled to prevent unauthorized access. Your information is kept completely confidential and discreet. We require that third parties treat your information with the same care as we do. In addition, they are only permitted to use this data for the purpose for which it was shared. We have also implemented several other things to protect your data. These consist of technical and policy solutions that depend on the type of data you share with us. Examples include password protection, antivirus and access control for (new) employees and partners.
To improve our platform, we use the statistics program Google Analytics. To protect the anonymity of you as a visitor, we have taken several measures. For example, a processor agreement has been concluded with Google (Analytics) and the last octet (digit group) of each IP address is removed before an IP address is processed by Google Analytics. In addition, the data sharing option is disabled, this means that no data is shared with Google Analytics. This is how we guarantee your anonymity.
How long do we keep personal information?
elockers will not retain your personal information longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your information is collected. The above applies at all times unless there is a legal obligation to keep personal information longer. We keep data relating to flex workers, employees and the provision of our services for a maximum of 7 years.
When you unsubscribe from our newsletter, your personal data will be deleted from the mail system within 2 weeks.
Rights
Under the GDPR, everyone has a number of rights. We are doing our best to comply with them. To exercise your rights, please contact us at info@elockers.nl. Below are your rights:
- Information and access: you can see what personal data we process about you. We are also happy to tell you more about "how and why" we process that data.
- Correction: Do you feel that we have incorrect information about you? If so, please let us know and we will update it.
- Oblivion: You can delete the personal data we hold about you. We may still need to process that data for other purposes (administration or deduplication, for example).
- Restriction: If you feel that we are processing your personal data unlawfully or incorrectly, you can also have that processing restricted.
- Objection (opposition): You may object to the processing of your personal data. Does it involve marketing? Then we will terminate that processing as soon as possible.
- Portability: This is a new right under the AVG to transfer your personal data. Should you wish to make use of this, please contact us.

We engage service providers to perform our services. These are not ´third party receivers´ but processors. For example, we cooperate with the following parties:

- The cloud environment Google Drive
- The Exact accounting program
- The invoicing program Moneybird
- Payroll software from RS Finance
- Signing contracts with Sign Request
- Planning tool from Ubeya
- Website statistics from Google Analytics
- Website statistics from Facebook
- Clients searching for suitable candidates
- Usability insights with Hotjar
We require all third parties to keep the information confidential and secure and to use it only to provide us with the products or services listed. We may also be required by law to disclose personal information to authorities or other third parties.
We never sell your personal information to third parties and will never misuse your data.
View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can do this yourself through the personal settings of your account. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by our company and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you. If you wish to exercise your right of objection and/or right to data portability or if you have other questions/comments about the data processing, please send an itemized request to administratie@elockers.nl. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. elockers will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but in any case within four weeks. elockers would also like to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Authority for Personal Data. Cookies
Cookies are small blocks of information your Internet browser stores that collect the following data:
